Pyndan Camel Tracks is the only camel riding tour operator in Alice Springs. A sunset camel ride against the backdrop of the beautiful West MacDonnell Ranges near Alice Springs is a signature Red Centre experience.

Marcus ‘The Camel Man’ Williams has almost 30 years experience working with camels all over the Outback as well as in Broome, India, Malaysia and Brunei. Pyndan Camel Tracks is a family-run business and all our cameleers and camels are well trained.

Pyndan Camel Tracks offers one hour camel rides at 12noon, 230pm or sunset for up to 16 people. We include free transfers from Alice Springs accommodation or self-drive only 15 minutes from CBD and visit the nearby Simpson's Gap.

Our three-hour morning camel ride is available for group bookings of 8 persons or more to spend more time getting to know your camel and venturing further into the majestic MacDonnell Ranges. Inquire about our custom-made group camel tours with optional catering and workshops.

See unique Australian animals like kangaroos and other native wildlife as you experience the true beauty of the Red Centre. Our camels are well trained and gentle, each with their own endearing personality. We are situated in the beautiful White Gums Valley, among the MacDonnell Ranges, explored during our camel rides. Visit our ‘camel lounge’ to learn about camels, browse our camel-themed souvenirs, admire camel artwork and camel collectables, observe the camels at home in their yards, and enjoy the peace and serenity of Outback Australia. Free tea, coffee and water at the Camel Lounge!
